Ordering

How do I place an order?

Simply select your favourite ornament(s), add them to your cart, and complete your purchase through our secure checkout.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Please contact us at hello@memoiramsterdam.com as soon as possible. Once an order has been processed or shipped, changes or cancellations cannot be guaranteed.

Will I receive an order confirmation?

Yes. You will automatically receive an order confirmation by email after completing your purchase.

Products

Are all ornaments always available?

Our ornaments are crafted in limited quantities. Each edition is intentionally small to preserve its exclusivity. Once sold out, designs may not be restocked. If you have your eye on a particular piece, we encourage you to order while it is still available.

What are the ornaments made of?

MEMOIR ornaments are crafted from glass. For certain designs, glass may be complemented with carefully selected resin details to achieve specific shapes or finishes.

Are the ornaments handmade?

Our ornaments are produced by specialised partners with expertise in premium ornament craftsmanship. Every design is created by MEMOIR and designed in Amsterdam.

What size are the ornaments?

Dimensions vary by design. Exact measurements can be found on each product page.

Are the ornaments fragile?

Yes. As our ornaments are primarily made of glass, we recommend handling them with care and storing them safely when not in use.

Do the colours exactly match the photos?

Each MEMOIR ornament is hand-painted, making every piece unique. Slight variations in colour and finish are part of its character. We make every effort to display colours as accurately as possible, though they may appear slightly different in real life due to screen settings.

Shipping

Which countries do you ship to?

We currently ship to the Netherlands and Belgium.

What are the shipping costs?

Shipping costs are calculated automatically during checkout based on the delivery destination and will be clearly displayed before payment.

How long does delivery take?

Weekday orders placed before 3 PM are dispatched the same day and typically delivered the next day. Weekend orders are processed on Monday.

During the holiday season, delivery times are determined by our shipping partners. Although your order will be dispatched promptly from our Amsterdam studio, slight delays may occur. We appreciate your understanding.

How can I track my order?

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking link by email.

What if my package is delayed?

While we work with reliable shipping partners, occasional delays can occur. If your order has been delayed longer than expected, please contact us at hello@memoiramsterdam.com.

Gifts & Personalisation

Can I give a MEMOIR ornament as a gift?

Absolutely. Many of our ornaments are purchased as gifts for weddings, new babies, anniversaries, graduations, and other meaningful milestones.

Each ornament arrives in our signature gift-ready packaging, beautifully presented and ready to give, with no additional wrapping needed.

Can I receive an invoice without pricing information?

Yes. Invoices are sent digitally and are not included in the package.

Can I add a personal message to my order?

We do not currently offer personal gift messages.

Can I personalise my ornament?

Selected ornaments can be personalised with a Year Charm, allowing you to commemorate a specific year or milestone.

Returns

Can I return my order?

Yes. You have the right to withdraw from your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason.

To exercise this right, please contact us at hello@memoiramsterdam.com. You may use our model withdrawal form as provided in our Terms & Conditions, but it is not mandatory.

Who pays for return shipping?

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. You may return via a carrier of your choice.

How do I request a return?

Please contact us at hello@memoiramsterdam.com using the same email address that was used to place the order. Include your order number and the item(s) you wish to return.

Upon receiving your request, we will confirm the return and provide further instructions.

What condition must returned items be in?

During the 14-day withdrawal period, please handle the product with care and only inspect it as you would in a physical store. Items must be returned unused, undamaged, and where reasonably possible, in their original packaging.

You are liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature and functioning of the product.

When will I receive my refund?

Once the returned item has been received and inspected, your refund will be issued via the original payment method within 14 days.

Can I exchange an item?

We do not offer exchanges. If you would like a different ornament, simply place a new order.

Damages & Issues

My ornament arrived damaged. What should I do?

Please contact us at hello@memoiramsterdam.com within 48 hours of delivery and include:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the ornament
  • Photos of the packaging
  • Photos of the shipping box

We will review the situation and provide an appropriate solution.

I received the wrong item.

Please contact us at hello@memoiramsterdam.com and include your order number. We will resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

An item is missing from my order.

Please contact us at hello@memoiramsterdam.com with your order number and we will investigate promptly.

Do you offer business or wholesale orders?

Yes. We work with selected boutiques, concept stores, and corporate clients for gifting and wholesale opportunities.
